Long May She Wave

Primitive Folk Art Olde Americana Raggedy Ann Doll
With Her Handmade Americana Flag

I have just finished this sweet little annie...measuring in at apprx 17"....Annie is just adorable in her olde fashioned red calico dress with little cream dots...Her apron is made from a calico of red, white and blue...

Annie is made from aged muslin that has been tea/coffee stained...Annie has a nice round head with a hand embroidered face...around the neck of her dress is a collar made from an olde quilt and embellished with a vintage button that has been tied on...

Annie's bloomers are muslin...tea/coffee stained...tied at the waist...embellished with red thread at the hem...

Annie's shoes are painted on...and her legs have handpainted red stripes...

She has a full head of hand dyed prim red wool hair...with a little bow that matches her dress...

Her flag is handmade from a thick cotton that has been coffee/vanilla stained..painted red, white and blue as shown...blue background with two prim white stars...and all handstitched together...then sewn to her flagpole...(a real piece of tree branch)...it is tied to Annie's arm...and measures apprx 9" tall by 5" wide...

She is complete with a handwritten tag attached that says "Long May She Wave"...she is signed and dated on her bottom...She will look so sweet sitting on your prim shelf or cupboard...or has a loop attached on her back for hanging....Also I am trying something new!!!...She is listed on my eBay starting at just .99 cents with no reserve...
