Primitive Folk Art Halloween Witch Hilda....Oh I just love the way she turned out...She thinks of course she is the prettiest witch since she does have the beauty mark to prove it....





Handpainted eyes and face....including the old wart on her nose...sealed to protect....she is made from osnaburg....that has been coffee/vanilla stained....she is about 27" tall and 11" wide....



Her dress is made from cotton prints...the bodice is a orange polka dot...the skirt is a very vintage halloween print full of pumkins and black cats...the inset of her skirt is from an olde piece of black fabric...her dress is embellished with torn fabric strips..rusty bells...and hand gathered collar...she has an olde rusty bells sewn to her bodice...the dress is rusty pinned closed in the back...



Her hair is needle felted gorgeous grey with a touch of white tucked in.....



Her hat is made from muslin....painted black....trimmed with matching fabric...rusty bells....and a big bow...it is all securely attached to her head...



She is holding her broom...from a real twig stained black and sanded....the bottom is ripped muslin strips stained black and dragged thru cinnamon....tied to the twig....apprx 17"h...I have also wrapped it with cheesecloth...some wire and added a rusty bell...and a few tied on strips of fabric...



Rusty bells tied to painted on boots....her pantaloons are made of the same black fabric as the skirt inset....



She is holding the key to her spellbook in her right hand...She will sit nicely for you on any prim shelf or cupboard...Her tag says "Hilda 1665"...She will come to you signed and dated....along with her trusty broom and key...

Annie & Her Itty Bitty Ellie




I have just finished this sweet olde annie...measuring in at apprx 14"...She sits nicely all by herself....Annie is just adorable in her vintage style calico red dress with white stars...her apron is made from stained cheesecloth...it is hand gathered and stitched on with two vintage style baby buttons...



Annie is made from aged osnaburg that has been tea/coffee stained...she has a nice round head with a hand embroidered face...and cute little pinked cheeks...



Annie's bloomers are red ticking...tea/coffee stained...tied at the waist...



Annie's shoes are painted on and a sweet little vintage baby button has been tied on to each mary jane..



She has a full head of hand dyed annie red wool hair...with a bow that matches her apron...



Her ellie is made from coffee/vanilla stained muslin with a braided thread tail ....he is apprx 4" long and 2" tall...



His eyes are embroidered and he is lightly blushed...



She is complete with a handwritten tag attached that says "ellie" and is signed and dated on her bottom...She will look sweet sitting on your prim shelf, cupboard or child's chair...

Itty Bitty Bunny Raggedy Ann

His nose is embroidered and he has two little buttons for eyes..he is from a sweet meadows farm pattern...



She is complete with a handwritten tag attached that says "bunny" and is signed and dated on her bottom...She will look sweet sitting on your prim shelf, cupboard or child's chair...

I have just finished this sweet little annie...measuring in at apprx 17"....Annie is just adorable in her olde fashioned red calico dress with little cream dots...Her apron is made from a calico of red, white and blue...



Annie is made from aged muslin that has been tea/coffee stained...Annie has a nice round head with a hand embroidered face...around the neck of her dress is a collar made from an olde quilt and embellished with a vintage button that has been tied on...



Annie's bloomers are muslin...tea/coffee stained...tied at the waist...embellished with red thread at the hem...



Annie's shoes are painted on...and her legs have handpainted red stripes...



She has a full head of hand dyed prim red wool hair...with a little bow that matches her dress...



Her flag is handmade from a thick cotton that has been coffee/vanilla stained..painted red, white and blue as shown...blue background with two prim white stars...and all handstitched together...then sewn to her flagpole...(a real piece of tree branch)...it is tied to Annie's arm...and measures apprx 9" tall by 5" wide...
